HP bringing foldable smartphone

American laptop and computer maker HP (Hewlett Packard) is preparing to bring smartphones. The company plans to enter the smartphone market through foldable phones.

                                                      

HP registered a foldable smartphone design patent with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) in 2019. The patent for the electronic display device was approved by Wipo on August 13, 2020.

The phone will have a flexible screen

According to the patent registered by HP, the smartphone is designed like a 3D image. The company is said to be bringing a phone with a flat flexible screen with an OLED display. The phone can be flipped like a laptop.

Notifications will appear even when folded

HP has reserved the right to choose different design variants. It is possible to partially separate the two parts of the display on this phone. Accordingly, even when folding the phone, a small part will be visible.

From which there will be all kinds of notifications, incoming calls, and messages. This will eliminate the need for a cover display. This will have a direct impact on the cost price. This will make the foldable phone cheaper.

Will give preference to Windows instead of Android

HP has not brought any new smartphone after Elite X3. The main reason for this is the lack of a Windows Phone platform. Computer makers like HP and Intel have definitely been collaborating with Microsoft for years.

But Microsoft has shut down its Windows Phone platform. Windows Ten X was a great choice for two-screen folding devices.

It is estimated that the foldable phone and tablet brought by the computer maker will run on Windows instead of Android or iOS.

    Samsung has unveiled the new Galaxy S20 Fan Edition

South Korean company Samsung has unveiled the new  S20 Fan Edition. The company unveiled the new Galaxy S20 series smartphone on Wednesday through a virtual event.

The smartphone, which has been unveiled by Samsung as a cheap flagship model, is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S20. It has the same features as the flagship devices like iPhone 11 and OnePlus 8.

Samsung has already launched three different Galaxy S20 smartphones, regular, Plus, and Ultra. Now the Galaxy FE has been added as the fourth phone. Which has been named Fan Edison .

From which some expensive parts of S20 have been removed while some key features have been kept intact. This phone comes in six different colors. The smartphone, which will be available in the market from October 2, is priced at USD 699.

The Galaxy S20 fan edition has a 6.5-inch display. Which is smaller than the Galaxy S20 and larger than the S20 Plus. Like those phones, the FE also has smooth animation and graphics with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

It has plastic on the back. Which can be taken as the plastic used in Note 20. Although it looks fine. Samsung has made the choice of color on this phone very wide.

These include red, orange, lavender, mint, and white. Using a 4500 mAh battery, the phone has 6 GB of RAM, wireless charging, IP 68 water resistance, expandable storage, and a Snapdragon 865 processor. The FE has also removed Samsung's high-megapixel rear camera option. But that's not the whole point of S-20.

Its main rear sensor is 12 megapixels with OSI. It also has a 12-megapixel ultra-wide and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. According to Samsung, the telephoto has three times the optical zoom and can maintain up to 80 times the space zoom. Which, of course, made the video an overnight sensation.

This means that the galaxy S20 fan edition will not be able to record 8K videos. But this is not a big loss. It has the same 32-megapixel selfie camera as the Galaxy A71.

When the company unveiled the S20 lineup, the FE version was not in its plans. But the company decided to bring the phone only last March after the current epidemic started.

In this sense, the Galaxy S20 is considered to be the company's first smartphone to target the FE epidemic. Samsung was particularly keen on targeting low prices but seems to want to stick to the premium S brand of a successful company to perform well in the US market.
